It’s not just Indian women who love the serials on Hindi TV Channels. Men also contribute to almost the same amount in the viewers’ list. Star Plus is one of the oldest Hindi TV channels. Founded in the mid-1990s, the channel remains to be a general entertainment channel and has a top number of viewers. The channel has many shows streaming day and night including daily soaps, crime shows, reality shows etc. The channel sets a slogan in every few years and is currently running on the slogan 'Rishta Wahi, Baat nayi’. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: The show started on the channel in 2009. The show focuses on the story of Rajasthani joint families and how they maintain their relations. The current protagonists of the show are Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and Kartik Goenka (Mohsin Khan). Naira and Kartik are married to each other and are currently facing inflicts with each other.
Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala: This new TV show started recently in 2018 and is liked by the audience already. The idea of the show has come from the Bengali show 'Potol Kumar Gaanwala’. The story is about a small girl Kullfi, played by Aakriti Sharma, who is disguised as a boy as she moves to Mumbai subsequent of her Mother’s death.
Ye Hai Mohabbatein: Ye Hai Mohabbatein was first premiered on Star Plus in 2013. Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Karan Patel are playing the protagonists since then as Ishita and Raman. The plot of the novel is somewhat based on the novel 'Custody’ by Manju Kapur.
Krishna Chali London: It is the most recent TV show started on the channel this year starring Megha Chakraborty and Krishna Shukla and Gaurav Sareen as Radhe Lal Shukla. The newly married couple faces problems as they have nothing in common with each other.
